This is a try 2.
Came out as good as the first time - definitely a keeper.
I'm really pleased with this recipe. Again, used brandy instead.

Today I made chocolate cupcakes with strawberry buttercream.
The recipe is here. I didn't fill the cupcakes, and substituted strawberry extract for mint extract.

Another weekend of baking.

This cake is my childhood favorite. I make it fairly often. This time I made it for my friend's 25th birthday. The celebration took place at her summer house, where we all went for the entire weekend, so I had to bake there. I was deprived of all my baking/decorating supplies, so I had to do with what was available.
I know this cake as Prague, but it's simple sour cream batter.

Today's adventure: chocolate souffle with whipped cream.

Today I made this chocolate souffle, it was the first attempt at souffle for me and I'm very happy with the result. It was very much brownie like, but lighter and extremely moist.
